a Log Management Expert (m/w)
Role / Activity:
• Develop an Enterprise Log Management requirements document. This includes the following activities which will be reflected in the document as a chapter each:
• Gathering of log management requirements and use-cases
• Requirements analysis and assessment
• Develop a document defining the Target State of a holistic Enterprise Log Management platform, including:
• Definition of log categories for the log information
• Definition of appropriate target states pertaining to log management, log analysis, log storage and log archival per log category.
• Definition of policies and guidelines that must be adhered to by all information system and infrastructure components in the generation, storage, safeguarding and retention of audit logs as necessary, based on a revision of existing material
• Assessment of the status quo and identification of gaps (including an assessment of the appropriateness of current log data collections) in the current environment:
- existing distributed and local log management efforts,
-.SLMS catering for security monitoring and secure storage of security-relevant logs,
-. existing log analysis instances using Splunk
• Develop Application, Information, Technology and Business Architectures for a holistic enterprise log management solution.
• Moderate the discussion between Stakeholders using experience and knowledge about best practices in comparable organizations, e.g. in workshops and bilateral meetings.
