Project assistant with accounting background responsible for the financial and management accounting for all divisions and ensures complete, correct and auditable reporting for all external regulatory and statutory bodies as well as for internal partners for an international bank in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Ensuring the complete, accurate and auditable accounting and closing month-end close analytical review and balance sheet substantiation plausibility checks
- Daily and monthly analysis and reconciliations
- Reviews and detailed variance analysis and commentary creation of business specifications for the implementation of new requirements (regulatory or new products)
- Comparing figures for the closing
Your experience/skills:
- Relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally in a bank
- Bachelor or Master in finance or accounting
- Excellent Excel skills
- Analytical skills
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German on a conversational level
