For a longer term project at our banking client in Gümligen Bern (one hour from Zurich), we are looking for an experienced

Quality Test Lead with knowledge in Funds (loans & mortgages) and German language skills (3048)

For a new project team within the banks Utility Sector, we are looking for an experienced senior Quality Test Lead (program level) or Project Lead with 8+ years experience in Testing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coordinating and setting up whole test strategies and test designs to support the devliery of testing services within the bank, particularly withing the funds area.

The Role:

- Defining the test strategy and test goals in collaboration with the stakeholders
- Creating the test concepts and test plans including budget
- Support of test design
- Planning and execution of all test activities
- Monitoring of the test activities responsible for test quality, timeline and budget
- Test reporting
- Coordinating with various departments in relation to testing activities
- Defect management
- Coordination of User Acceptance Testing
- Continuous improvement of the overall test process
- Coordination and coaching of the offshore test team

Your qualifications:

- Proven track record in setting up test strategies and test designs
- Experience in coordination and coaching an offshore test team
- Min. 8 Year’s experience in test management with larger projects
- Banking/financial industry background
- Certified as ISTQB Test Manager or equivalent job experience
- Knowledge of HP Quality Center
- Strong personality & excellent negotiation skills
- Fluency in English
- German language skills (verbal) are a big plus

You bring the following experiences:

- Knowledge of loans and advances, mortgage and participation syndicate
- Knowledge of Basel III
- Experience in Liquidity Reporting and Credit-Risk-Reporting
- Knowledge of Funds
