Infrastructure Project Manager. We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager for our client in the financial services sector in Geneva.
The Role:
The Infrastructure Project Manager will need to coordinate with local and regional infrastructure teams, ensuring their deliverables are well prioritised according to project plan, that risks and issues are logged and mitigated.
Your tasks:
Project Management
- Chairs operational and steering project committees ensuring relevant stakeholders are involved.
- Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects according to PRINCE2 methodology.
- Coordinates managers and resources working on various project streams. Reviews high-level deliverables across various projects.
- Minimises exposure to risks across managed or conflicting projects.
- Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
Project Accounting
- Delivers infrastructure projects according to agreed scopes and deliverables.
- Determines appropriate financial tracking and reporting, ensures accurate tracking of expenditures, time spent, and monitors receivables for all projects under his/her direction.
Your experience/skills:
- Managed large scale IT infrastructure project, preferably involving the relocation of a datacentre of a financial institution.
- 10 years' experience in managing projects an international large scale company
- Coordinated a team of 20 or more in a hierarchical or functional context
- Understanding and appreciation of Swiss context (regulatory, cultural)
- Management of datacentre
- PRINCE2 certification or equivalent
- Fluent English and French
