For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Lync/Messagging Specialist
Start: August 2015
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zürich
LYNC
IT - Systems Engineer/Administrator (LYNC)
Tasks:
- Administration and support of the Lync- and Exchange Infrastructure
- Change and release testing and implementation
- Installation of new components
- Reviewing and creating documentation and work instructions
- Troubleshooting
- Collaboration within projects
- Deep analysis of logs and reports
- Ensure 2nd level support to other departments
- Ensure consistency with other regions (AMER/EMEA/APAC)
- Ability to work off business hours
Knowledge & Skills requirements:
- At least 3 years of supporting a complex Lync UC environment
- Must have strong Microsoft Lync experience (preferred Lync 2013) in design and operation
- Lync Client and Server troubleshooting experience
- A wide experience in generating Lync reports
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure focusing on IP Telephony technologies
- Understanding of other technologies required to run an enterprise level infrastructure
- Strong knowledge and experience in supporting technologies like Exchange 2010 and Active Directory
- Must have Scripting skills (PowerShell)
- Networking knowledge (Protocol, Routing and VLAN)
- Security knowledge (Firewall)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong troubleshooting background

- Communication and diplomatic skills in an international environment
- Proactive team player with good communication skills
