LYNC Engineer (m/f)
For our banking client we are currently looking for a LYNC Engineer for our banking client.
In terms of skill set, what we are seeking is:
- Administration and support of the Lync- and Exchange Infrastructure
- Change and release testing and implementation
- Installation of new components
- Reviewing and creating documentation and work instructions
- Troubleshooting
- Collaboration within projects
- Deep analysis of logs and reports
- Ensure 2nd level support to other departments
- Ensure consistency with other regions (AMER/EMEA/APAC)
- Ability to work off business hours
Your experience/skills:
- At least 3 years of supporting a complex Lync UC environment
- Must have strong Microsoft Lync experience in design and operation
- Lync Client and Server troubleshooting experience
- Good experience in generating Lync reports
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure focusing on IP Telephony technologies
- Understanding of other technologies required to run an enterprise level infrastructure
- Good knowledge and experience in supporting technologies like Exchange 2010 and Active Directory
- PowerShell script experience
- Networking knowledge (Protocol, Routing and VLAN)
- Security knowledge (Firewall)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
