A respected international tier-1 banking client of mine are seeking an Email Engineer/Linux System Administrator for a job opportunity in Zürich.
This bank has always been at the forefront of technology advancements and development of banking applications, and they currently need an Email Engineer/Linux System Administrator. As the Email Engineer/Linux System Administrator in Zürich, you will be a part of the Email boundary engineering team, who are responsible for the email hygiene, policy enforcement, and routing to the end user's mailbox. You will be responsible for the renewal of approximately 180 Servers that are in place and helping with BAU work to free up the email SMEs.
Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Excellent knowledge of Linux System Engineering (Design, Testing, System Documentation)
- Automation knowledge by way of Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python)
- Email knowledge (SMTP protocols)
- LDAP knowledge as the configuration of the mail backbone is based on this
- Knowledge in TLS, DNS, Load-balancing, Firewalls
- Previous experience in IT Infrastructure projects
This is for a contract job with an initial duration of six months. Ideally, you are available immediately.
