BANKING IT INFRASTRUCTURE JOB
ALL-INCLUSIVE RATE CHF 700/DAY
A respected international tier-1 banking client of mine are seeking a System Integrator for a job opportunity in Zürich.
This bank has always been at the forefront of technology advancements and development of banking applications, and they currently need a System Integrator. As the System Integrator in Zürich, you will be assisting with a migration of my client's homegrown product, which requires an understanding of Java enterprise applications which consist of many interfaces to other systems. The migration entails an operating system and database move. You will have to deep dive into the current environment and figure out how to best migrate everything to the new infrastructure. You should have some Java knowledge as the current code is old and will likely require a rebuild. However, you yourself won't be the one responsible for coding.
Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Solid knowledge in Linux and Solaris packaging
- Knowledge of WebSphere and Tomcat interfaces,
- Solid Java background
- Good social skills; you can work with a team, and you communicate well
- You are a self-starter
- Good knowledge of Oracle DB and DBaaS
This is for a contract job with an initial duration until the end of the year. Ideally, you are available immediately.
