About the role:
For the Manufacturing IT Kaiseraugst Team we are looking for someone to support our client infrastructure on site in the manufacturing and laboratory area. S/he will perform the 2nd Level Support for the infrastructure components we manage, working following ITIL and CSV guidelines, define, run and document changes within the system. The candidate will be in close collaboration with Business and Quality Assurance and will also support running projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Implementation and qualification of client infrastructure in the manufacturing area. This includes also peripherals like label printers, barcode scanners etc.
- 2nd Level field support
- Support of projects
- Be the contact for customer for new requests/demand
- Once onboard on call support
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Engineering and Suppliers
Must Haves:
. +5 years of relevant experience in supporting IT infrastructure (at least 2 years in a manufacturing or laboratory area)
. Excellent know-how in Windows OS and installation of different applications
. CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
. Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a "thinker")
. Proactive investigation of issues
. Great communication skills particularly in German (German is mandatory)
. Great team player
