Network Engineer - Luzern
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Network Engineer to join one of their clients, a well renowned Swiss firm. For this temporary assignment we are in search of a German speaking candidate who is immediately available and ready to work in Luzern.
Key responsibilities:
- Development of solution proposals and basis for decision based on the detected requirements
- Specify and create network architectures and concepts
- Develop guidelines for the evaluation and installation of communication equipment
- Development of functional specifications and requirement catalogs
- Conducting evaluations to obtain suitable network components
- Planning, designing and installing networks
- Observing the technical development of networks; Testing new technologies for use in own networks
- Creating the network documentation (topology, access rights, Firewall rules, etc.)
- Defining and enforcing the safety and monitoring criteria
- Creating network test concepts; Design, create, perform, monitor and evaluate tests
- assessing security threats and the effectiveness of security measures taken; Initialize, if necessary, appropriate measures to improve safety
- Creation and monitoring of operational and operational guidelines
- Use for migrations on weekends and outside normal working hours possible.
- The work has to be done at the locations in Switzerland.
You must possess:
- At least 6 years of latest experience as Network Engineer
- +3 years as Connectivity Solution Engineer
- "Hands-on" mentality and flexibility
- Problem-solving skills
- German and English - Fluent written and spoken
