For a longer-term project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior Quant Developer / RE - C# / Trading Applications (5309)
For this hybrid role (development, requirements engineering & testing) we are looking for a motivated Quant Developer with extensive in-house development experience of trading applications.
Your Qualification:
• Over 8 years working experience as a Quantitative Developer in the financial industry (ideally Trading Applications)
• Strong skills in OOP, .NET C# 4.5 or above, LINQ, multi-threading
• Good DB design and SQL knowledge including SQL Server 2008 or above
• Requirements engineering and business analysis experience
• Working experience in Test driven development
• Agile / scrum experience
• Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
• Know-how in Web technologies such as Asp.Net MVC & Web Api, JavaScript (jQuery, angular, knockout) would be an advantage
• Good spoken and written English, German would be a plus
Your Responsibilities:
• Developing analytical components in a prototyping environment.
• Enhancing existing functionalities and designing/implementing new features following coding best practices
• Taking part in extending the testing framework and maintaining / improving unit tests
• Understanding the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions
• Supporting the Production Environment and the end-users
