Citrix Engineer (German & English)

On behalf of our client, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, located in the heart of the beautiful and cultural Basel area we are looking for a Citrix Engineer.
This is a contracting position from the 30th of April 2018 until the 31st of December 2018 (extension planned).
You will be working within the department of Pharma Informatics as part of the Manufacturing IT Team onsite in Basel.
Your Tasks:
- Ensuring that operational work, project related activities and on-call services are performed according to defined KPIs.
- Providing infrastructure and application management. Support and ensure operational stability and effectiveness of several Applications and Infrastructure platform
- Contributing to the core business and informatics processes and solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools, as well as problem solving skills, to support these processes and solutions
- Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
- Resolving or escalating problems for resolution when appropriate
- Maintaining and developing process and technical knowledge
What you bring to the table:
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as in a regulated environment with Computer System (laboratory or manufacturing experience as 2nd level support)
- Experience with business processes in the manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Validation experience with working in a project environment and in Informatics Service Support and Service Delivery
- Previous experience in system installation and maintenance of operating systems, hardware and peripheral devices eg bar code scanner, printer etc.
- Technical experience in manufacturing and laboratory systems
- Strong technical skills in different operating systems and platforms
- Experience in Network Infrastructure
- Tools: Windows ; VMware; Citrix; Windows 7; Windows 10
- 2+ years CSV experience
- German and English language profiency
It would be a plus if you also have:
- Certifications: ITIL, GxP
