Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in the Basel area, is looking for a Professional PC Technician (Infrastructure) to be based in the Basel area. This is a contract position starting from the beginning of April and lasting until the end of 2018.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Implementation and qualification of client infrastructure in the manufacturing area. This includes also peripherals like label printers, barcode scanners etc.
- 2nd Level field support
- Support of projects
- Be the contact for customer for new requests/demand
- Once onboard on call support
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Engineering and Suppliers
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or laboratory area
- Excellent know How in Windows OS and installation of different applications
- Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a thinker )
- Proactive investigation of issues
- Great communication skills particularly in German (German is mandatory)
- Great team player
- CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
