For our banking client in Zurich we are currently looking for a VMware Automation Engineer
Start date: 01.03.2018
End date: 31.12.2018
Location: Zurich
Main tasks:
- Design, engineering, documentation of the global vRealize Automation Infrastructure
- Globally distributed infrastructure endpoints integration
- Development, documentation of new workflows, blueprints and catalogs together with the subject matter experts
- IaaS and XaaS offering development and enhancement
- Debug and troubleshoot workflows and Interfaces in vRealize Automation
- 3rd level support in case of vRealize Automation related incidents and problems
Ideal candidate shall bring:
- VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) experience (blueprints creation, catalogs publishing, new workflows design, infrastructure endpoints integration
- Infoblox, vCenter, Netapp, HDS, AIX LPAR, Windows development services, Satellite, Puppet, AD, F5 or Cisco hardware)
- 5+ years of experience in Scripting languages, ie Shell Scripts, Java Scripts, PowerShell Scripts, Ruby, Python
- Experience in integrating infrastructure endpoints with different protocols like SOAP, REST, SSH, Powershell remoting
- IT infrastructure environments knowledge (Redhat Linux, Microsoft Windows, VMware, network, load balancer, storage, Puppet, AD)
- Understanding of IT & business processes, compliance
- VMware Cloud Management and Automation certification
- University degree in computer science (or similar)
- Fluent English
