DB2 Database Engineer (80%) wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Several years of DB2 for z/OS experience as a Database Administrator/System Engineer
- Competency of project management techniques and a systematic problem solving approach for larger activities achieving the desired results
- Professionalism in achieving desired results with high energy and flexibility
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Performing applications support with DB2 usage and its features
- Identifying and optimising programs, besides evaluating and elaborating options with the application owner
- Developing and coordinating implementation plans
- Supporting in problem cases along with On-Call duty
- Improving the environment in a continuous process
