For a longterm project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for aR Developer - Windows / Linux (4774)
The ideal candidate is an all-round, quick learner, proactive and self-motivated team player that understands the value of collaboration.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science and / or mathematics / statistics
- Knowledge of R is a must
- Experience troubleshooting software issues on Windows and Linux environments
- Experience of Java, Matlab or SAS is advantageous
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices preferred
- Solid numerical and quantitative skills
- Able to approach problem solving in a structured manner, coordinating with other team members and documenting successful outcomes
- A strong communicator with fluency in English, both in oral and written form
