Avaloq Release Manager

Role Purpose

The role owner is responsible to manage the Avaloq Release Management processes, considering project (change) and business as usual demand. Along the daily operational and quite technical tasks this function asks for being able to answer many questions about code development and software change process. Additionally to the regular release integration, the function supports the Avaloq Release Upgrade projects with planning, analysis, parametrisation, testing and implementation. The role owner will not exclusively work with and for the Avaloq system, but also coordinate or execute tasks for related satellite systems, such as E-banking, e-Archive, Datawarehouse etc. The function is positioned within a team of 4 Avaloq- and 4 Satellite Systems-Releasemanagers and collaborates closely with Application Management (60-100 developers) and IT Test Management.

• Change integration and release packaging
• Change and Release Deployment
• Analysis and Solution Development
• Support Test and Integration Management
• Support Tools and Operations Services (operation and/or development of own tools)
• Project support (consulting), Parametrisation, Performance Optimisation
• Interface to 3rd Party Provider/Suppliers
• Operations: ICE (Eclipse), Avaloq Databases, DB Cockpit (Java Application), TOSCA

Specialists Functions

• Performance Analysis and Testing
• Application Developer (internal Tools)
• Deployment Automation (Oracle, Unix)

Skills:

Technical

• Unix
• Java and/or PL/SQL
• Avaloq Certification
• Higher university degree or similar

Soft

• Solution and service oriented, taking over ownership
• Good social grace in contact with business and IT Developers
• Own initiative, self-starter qualities and persistency
• Analytical & structured thinking/working
• Very good communication skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Teamplayer
• German and English spoken/written fluent
