For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Program Manager - Infrastructure Services / DBaaS (4465)

In this position you will drive the delivery of key technologies within Infrastructure Services under the Infrastructure Modernization program of our client. You will take responsibility for the adoption of Oracle’s private cloud on premise offering for its global Database as a Service (DBaaS) platform.

Your Qualifications:

-8-10 years working experience of Project/program management experience in a major organisation
-Strong experience of Vendor engagement and managing internal / external resources with excellent Stakeholder Management skills
-Experience in the development and approval of complex business cases involving outsourcing
-Good knowledge of Infrastructure Platform Technology and have proven experience of managing infrastructure delivery, service & project delivery across a distributed systems infrastructure
-Specific experience of database technologies, ideally Oracle (other infrastructure layers is also highly desirable)
-Negotiation-level English (oral/written) - proven interpersonal and communications skills to establish excellent working relationships

Your Responsibilities:

-Vendor Management: Coordination of the commercial discussions between the bank and Oracle
-Management of all activities related to the elaboration of the business case and activities that are a prerequisite for internal deal approval. Most importantly, approval for the outsourcing of DBaaS system management needs to be procured
-Management of the Proof of Concept (PoC) activities
-Project Plans, formulating and gaining approval for activity plans, reporting against plans, work breakdown structure documentation and management
-Manage Key Stakeholder Groups in Engineering, support and Business Line IT Groups
