For a longer term project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedEmail System Engineer - Linux / Sendmail (4419)
Your Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as Email System Engineer
- Advanced Linux, Sendmail skills
- Intermediate network (DNS, Firewall) and OpenLDAP skills
- Script development using Shell script knowledge
- Proven experience in corporate email infrastructure
- Experience with project work and with cross-cultural collaboration
- Familiarity with Proofpoint Sentrion and Splunk Enterprise products would be an asset
- Java programming experience would be a plus
- Fluency in English, German would be a plus
About the role:
- Creating, executing and documenting test cases, analyzing mail logs
- Determining migration strategies
- Writing scripts to facilitate migration
- Preparing software and configuration changes
- Consulting mail operations and application owners
Business-as-usual engineering includes:
- Software patching
- Email policy configuration changes
- Routing changes
- Small requests for enhancement
