Job Description:
Summary: An alternative investments fund manager located in Zurich is further building out the functionalities of its trading and analytics IT platform. To support the development team, the fund manager is looking for a motivated tester with experience of trading applications.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as the sole tester in the agile development process.
This includes:
-Implement and maintain formal testing process and end user training
-Plan and conduct the business user acceptance testing and end user trainings
-Set up and maintain the manual regression testing suite
-Keep training and functionality documentation up to date
-Coordinate resolution of issues raised by the end users
-Be the Lead SME in Hands-On manual testing on MSSQL databases
-Develop MIS report for development, testing and support
Skills:
-3-5 Years Testing experience
-Experience creating test cases from both user stories and through informal dialog with key users
-Good working experience in Manual Testing within UAT
-Good working experience in automating/Scripting manual tests for regression testing within a Microsoft OS environment
-Strong analytic and problem solving skill
-Good client communication skills/able to independently liaise with end users
-Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
Nice to Have:
-Good experience as Test Management
-Previous experience with interactive mock-up tools and agile tools (JIRA)
-Good understanding of C# .net, MS SQL
-Previous experience in the Finance domain (ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management)
Education: Higher Education, such as Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar
Languages:
* Excellent spoken and written English
