For a project at our client, an international banking company in Zurich, we are looking for aGerman speaking Data Analyst – Strong Excel (3919)
In this position, you will collect required data and information, necessary to fulfill agreed timelines and commitments of the litigation projects towards the authorities. Any kind of data (structured, unstructured and special cases) that are related to and located in Switzerland are in scope. This is a great opportunity to combine your experience in project management, data management and compliance.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role, preferably within the data management team of an international Bank
- Experience in working with audit, compliance or highly regulated and sensitive areas
- Sound knowledge of Financial Products and Private Banking processes
- Excellent use of MS Office applications (Word, Acces, Excel, etc.)
- Good organizational skills and a very precise, structured and efficient work approach
- Ability to manage stakeholders with different seniorities and from different areas
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to cope with pressure, motivation and high degree of flexibility
- Teamplayer with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong sense of ownership, works independently, is proactive and client-orientated
- Fluent in English and German, other language skills are a plus
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business Analyst to source documents for litigation cases across the bank
- Coordinate and ensure collection according to the sourcing model together with data providers
- Organize data sourcing incl. necessary process steps, required data quality and timelines
- Order, track and coordinate sourcing requests with the data providers
- Document and implement the individual sourcing per request for sustainable implementation and audit trail
- Build up expert knowledge for a subject matter or specific data source
- Act as deputy for the Stream Leader
