For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Senior Business Analyst - part time 40-50% - product strategy (commercial & marketing)
Project background:
We are looking for a Business Analyst that has experience in the product strategy (commercial & marketing) environment. One of the goals in GPS IT is assessing the solution landscape and the business needs for the future years and define an IT roadmap for the Global Product Strategy (GPS) department.
Tasks:
- Developing business-specific organizational solutions
- Focusing in particular on process organization and single tasks
- Help define a medium-long term IT roadmap
- Performing analytical and conceptual activities to an accounted solution portfolio against internal business customers
- Providing consultancy and support in defining and documenting the outcome of strategic analysis on your own
- Taking part in meetings with the IT team and business representatives
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience (+8 years) in business analysis in the pharmaceutical industry, at both strategic and tactical level
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong synthesis and presentation skills
- Business process modelling skills
- Able to document business cases
- Able to gather and document business and IT requirements
- Experience in defining IT roadmaps
- Experience in interacting with senior management
- Proven track of records (mandatory)
- Previous experiences with IT roadmaps at global pharmaceutical companies
- Goal-oriented
- Teamwork-oriented
- Able to deal with a steep learning curve about the scope of the assessment and to become productive in a very short time
- English language: full professional proficiency (both spoken and written)
- Knowledge of GPS department is a nice to have
Start date: 15.08.2016
End date: 31.10.2016 (maybe extension for 2-3 additional months)
Location: Basel (Remote is not possible)
Workload: can vary between 40% and 50%
Travelling: not required
