For a project of our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for anGerman speaking IT Project Manager – Apps Transformation (3797)
The projects objective is to transit former Operations-based apps into the IT landscape. The Portfolio of work includes standardising the IT roles and transitional work such as server migrations and EOL remediation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years‘ experience in working as a project manager, preferably within a bank
- Good understanding of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate a team and to solve complex problems
- Practical experience of applying various project management methodologies
- High degree of flexibility and “can do” attitude with a high degree of autonomy
- Fluency in English and German
Responsibilities
- Deliver program objectives
- Responsible for results-oriented management and small team of Project Managers, either directly or as part of a matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Manage all aspects of the project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
- Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement
