For our Life Science client in the Basel area, we are seeking a Capital Expenditure Buyer
Start Date: 1st March 2016
End Date: 1st March 2017 + extensions
Location: Basel area
Language: French & English fluent, German is a plus
Our client are seeking a Capital Expenditure Buyer to provide procurement services to projects for our client in locations in Switzerland, France and Germany, aligned with the project Sourcing Strategy, Procurement Plan and out client's Procurement Guidelines. You will be responsible for delivering the productivity targets for this project, utilising local and regional market intelligence. You will be responsible for performance management and tracking of procurement relevant and measure KPIs, which you must report on a regular basis.
Your Role:
- Buy Engineering and Construction Services on behalf of our client, following the Sourcing Strategy and Procurement Execution Plan
o Gather Market Intelligence
o Prepare RFI & RFP
o Bid Evaluation
o Contract Management
o Negotiation
o Expediting
o Close Out
- Support or drive procurement for other categories
- Accountable for compliant procurement adhering to our client's Procurement Processes
Your Experience:
- 3-7 years experience in a similar position
- Fluency in French and English, German is a plus
