For a project at our client, an international insurance company in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedProject Manager – MS SQL, .NET and ACCESS (3503)
The Project Manager must lead several small implementation work streams in parallel. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and steering the execution of the project plan.
Your qualifications:
-Ability to work in a complex organization and act quickly in an autonomous fashion
-Delivery focused, pragmatic mindset with good communication skills
-University level education desired
-Project management qualification (preferably PMI)
-Several years of experience as a project manager, preferably in projects implementing small solutions
-Experienced user of MS Project
-Basic understanding of technologies used for application development:
-Filenet
-Access
-MS SQL
-AS400
-.Net
-Dopix
-Experience in software development is a plus
-Experience in Insurance or Financial Service industry is a plus
Your responsibilities:
-Create and maintain the project detail planning
-Lead the project team and coordinate the work effort
-Manage teams with internal members and external providers
-Responsible to deliver the defined work results according to plan
-Manage the risk of execution and change, reporting to program management
-Overall responsibility for project risk management and establishing effective controls
-Accountable for the completion of all project management deliverables as defined in the Project Management Plan (PMP) to the required level of quality
-Present updates in program management meetings
-Tracking key project metrics, issues, risks, changes and to produce monthly status reports
