Datacom Engineer - Support, Configure, Troubleshoot, CCNP, JNCIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
RIZE's client is a market leading Telecommunications company supporting a long-term project that is ramping up and requires the expertise of a confident and independent Datacom Network Engineer.
Datacom Engineer
- CCNP is required or Juniper equivalent JNCIP - most of the equipment is Juniper
- Administrate, operate and maintain network equipment that forms the Data Network: including Routers, Switches, Firewalls.
- They will be working in a Back Office role - however they should be working at the level of 3rd line support OR an experienced 2nd line support.
- Somebody that can achieve quick integrations.
- Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- Monitors and secures access to the technical data network and to technical equipment's,as well as the access to other equipment's through technical data network.
- Ensure data security by periodic back-ups.
- Executes periodic maintenance according to vendor's specifications.
- Open tickets to vendors when equipment's malfunctions are spotted.
- Monitors and solves alarms and technical issues related to the administrated systems and applications.
- Ensures installation of new applications and upgrades of existing ones or provide technical support whenever these are performed by third party vendors.
- Execute Work Orders and pursues their effects.
- Analyses and solves customer complains related to the technical data network and equipment's or administrated applications.
