For a client's project in Zurich we are looking for a Test Manager/Junior Business Analyst as follows:

Test Manager/Junior Business Analyst in an Alternative Investment Area
Overview of Business Area/Project:
An alternative investments fund manager located in Zurich is further building out the functionalities of its trading and analytics IT platform. To support the development team, the fund manager is looking for a motivated test manager/junior business analyst with extensive experience of trading applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a hands-on test manager in the agile development process. This includes:
- Implement and maintain formal testing process and end user training
- Plan and manage the business user acceptance testing and end user trainings
- Keep training and functionality documentation up to date
- Coordinate resolution of issues raised by the end users
- Work with the development team to implement automated test cases
- Develop MIS report for development, testing and support
Also act as a junior business analyst in the agile development process. This includes
- Working independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the product owner and the senior business analyst
- Work with a number of business stakeholders to prepare detailed user stories for the development team and to describe the related changes in existing business processes
- Develop interactive mock-ups and syndicate requirements amongst the relevant business stakeholders
- Work with the development team and the product owner to oversee the implementation of the defined user stories
- Coordinate process changes on the business side with the relevant business stakeholders
Required Skills/Experience:
Essential
Test Manager
- Experience with creating test cases from both user stories and through informal dialog with key users
- Knowledge of an automated testing environment
General
- Previous experience in the Finance/Insurance industries (ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management)
- Strong analytic and problem solving skill
- Good client communication skills/able to independently liaise with end users
- Flexible on moving targets/changing requirements
- Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
- Good spoken and written English
Desired
Junior Business Analyst
- Experience conducting business analysis in an agile environment (ie writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, etc.)
- Previous experience with interactive mock-up tools and agile tools (JIRA)
General
- Higher Education, such as Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
- Good understanding of C# .net, MS SQL
- Good spoken and written German
