For a global bank we are looking for aLinux Systems Administrator / Integrator (3302)
to join the team here in Zürich.
The Job:
• Deployment and Continuous Integration
• Planning and coordinating to all Test-environments and to the Production
• Configuration- and Release-Management and responsible for Release Rollouts to the Production
• Single Point of Contact for application- and test-teams
Responsibilities and tasks:
• Implementation of Build-Process
• Set up Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure, onboard and maintain projects on CI
• Deployment of components/applications into all test environments up to Production
• Code builds, code deployments, SVN maintenance
• Create and maintain Deployment packages
• Support during build failures (research, environment update)
• Contribution in server setup, failover concept, operational manual and System Specification
• Monitoring and supporting all test environments up to Production
• Test support (automatic sanity checks, verification of the deployment)
• Management of the different environments (IT, PTA), database (Oracle)
• Management of CR and RFC (creation and maintenance of change requests on SwanXP and SNOW), emergencies and exception changes handling
• Set-up and maintenance of local deployments (WLS-Installations)
• Monitor testing for IT/PTA/PROD
• Maintaining and supporting repositories like CVS, SVN. Project related maintenance (eg remove or move of projects)
• Managing and supporting SharePoint, create and maintain SharePoint repositories and sub-sites
We are looking for candidates with:
• Very good skills in UNIX Administration. Most of the work is in Linux with some Solaris.
• Shell Scripting
• Basic Java - must at least be able to read log files
• Deployment and Continuous Integration so any know-how with the following is useful: TeamCity, Maven, SVN, CVS, SharePoint, Oracle DB, DB2, MQ,
• Must have strong working knowledge of at least one Web/App Server.
• very good English skills, both oral and written (writing technical texts, presentation proof)
