Contract Opportunity – Middleware Engineer – Zurich

Job Title: Middleware Engineer
Location: Zurich, Switzerland – 60% onsite 40% remote
Job Type: 12 month initial contract

Join them as a Filebroker and Filetransfer Engineer in the Middleware Team in Zurich.

Responsibilities:

• Lifecycle management
• 3rd Level Support (shift/rota) – level support activities in the area of file transfer (FTPS on Unix and Windows systems), MQ and Broker
• Troubleshooting on
• Unix, Scripting – Bash, Perl

Requirements:

• Solid Linux (RHEL 6/7) knowledge (diagnosis, performance, scripting Bash/Perl/Python, rpm packaging),
• Experience and knowledge of a UNIX Operating.
• 5+ years on similar engineering position
• Ideally some understanding of tools like Splunk, Geneos is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of setting up Disaster Recovery and High Availability with Message Queue(MQ), Message Broker(MB) on VCS clusters
