I am currently seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to work with my client based in Switzerland, some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Rate: CHF per day depending on experience
Duration: Open Ended but likely to be 2 years
Location: Switzerland
Key Information
My client, following a highly successful year is currently seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer to join their team. Ideally, you will have a broad range of Avionics Systems knowledge from initial design through to test, integration & certification of various systems.
The reason for this is that my client deals with a large variety of projects from a number of clients and therefore offer a variety of projects.
Due to various new projects which they have to finish in parallel, my client is looking for two contractors.
For both positions they currently foresee an expected support time of at least 1 year.
Due to the fact that a single project is not going to make a person to 100% busy during the whole time frame, they are looking for contractors which can take responsibility on one project and support the remainder of the team during their duties (creation of test and certification plans, test results documentation, certification reports, support during ground and rig tests ).
It would be required that the person works on site.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
*Broad knowledge of Avionics Systems life cycle
*Aircraft navigation experience - RNP/LPV at testing & certification stages (Desirable, not essential)
*Knowledge of Terrain Awareness Systems (TAWS/GPWS)
