Communications Specialist: Investment Writer (banking)
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Investment Writer with extensive financial products and services experience. Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:
Role:
- Support the team in writing consistent and high-quality messages (eg for CIO publications)
- Develop convincing storylines for IM products for all communication channels, incl. sales and marketing material
- Compose internal and external news messages, interviews, podcasts, etc.
- Ensure high content quality standards by proofreading of product marketing and sales material (eg RFPs, etc.)
- Manage web-publishing, digital and email communication channels
- Support the team in various projects, strategic as well as tactical support (eg event planning and organization), as needed
- Further develop Investment Management communication strategy & concept
- Close collaboration with many internal stakeholders (eg Marketing, group communications, investor relations, other business areas and regions)
Skills:
- Over 3 years of experience as a writer, more specifically within banking
- Experience in investment writing and storytelling in English
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and investments across asset classes and instrument types
- Proven ability to interpret financial markets data & process it accordingly (xls)
- University degree in Banking, Economics or Finance, with several years of banking experience
- Personality that works independently and under pressure, detail oriented and 'out of the box' thinker
- Team player able to connect quickly with a broad set of experts across different units and cultures
