I am currently seeking an experienced Technical Editor to work with a client of mine based in Switzerland.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Rate: Circa 750CHF per day
Location: Zurich area
Duration: Indefinite (ongoing)

My Client is a well-established Aerospace company. Due to an increase in work load, they are seeking an experienced Technical Editor to work with them for an indefinite duration on a contract basis.
They are ideally seeking candidates that can demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas:
* Experience of editing Technical Documentation (maintenance manuals etc.)
* Familiarity with ATA100 and/or S1000D (project are a mix of civil and military aircraft)
* Candidates must have experience in an Aerospace and/or defence background
* Creation of data modules, validation, compiling and publishing
* Verification and Validation of the technical documentation with the various program stakeholders
* Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups representing Technical Publications throughout the company when required
* Provide regular updates on project status to project team and management. Proactively identify potential project risks with mitigation actions
