For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Risk Committee Manager:

START:ASAP DURATION: 6 months LOCATION: Zürich

Overview of Business Area/Project:

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) acts as a guardian of the bank's risk appetite, sharing responsibility with the Front Office for unexpected or "out of strategy" losses incurred in the business. In addition, it is responsible for overarching coverage of reputational risk, regulatory risk, model risk, capital risk as well as group scenarios & stress testing. Furthermore, ERM is responsible for ensuring our internal and external stakeholders know and understand the risk profile of the bank.

What we offer:

A unique platform dealing with the most senior people in the organization including Group CRO, Board Audit and Risk Committee members, N-2 in Risk, N-2 Front Office incl. ShS supporting with direct exposure the Chairman of the Board of Directors Risk Committee and the Group Chief Risk Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing oversight of risk and finance topics across Divisional Risk Management Committees including Swiss Universal Bank, International Wealth Management, Global Markets, Investment Banking & Capital Markets and APAC.
  • Support the Board of Directors Risk Committee and the Capital Allocation and Risk Management Committee (CARMC) for CS AG including objective setting, agenda planning, meeting organization, speaker/content provider coordination, document screening and feedback to input providers, meeting materials management, minutes, pending items mgmt., etc.
  • Contribute to Special Projects and requests on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Directors Risk Committee.

Required Skills/Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven track record of supporting Senior Executive Committees or Chief Operating Officers/Chief of Staff in Risk or Finance
  • Working experience in Risk or Finance for a bank
  • Higher Degree Education in Risk or Finance
  • Ability to quickly understand complex risk and finance topics
  • Ability to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders
  • Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with ability to document in a clear and concise way
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent organizational skills
