For our client based in Zurich we are looking for a:

Job Title: Solution Architect

Based at: Zürich

Duration: 6 Months

Workload: 100%

Role description:

Provides pre-sales advisory and solution consultancy support for our enterprise clients, helping them to embrace innovation and drive change, not just react to it. Working closely with core sales and other pre-sales functions, the Solution Architect is aligned and accountable to specific sales teams within the branch or dedicated to named customers. The Solution Architect can be a subject matter expert in a specific ICT tower but must also have the ability to work more broadly as an end to end solution owner covering multiple technical domains. Providing guidance and insight for pre-sales solutioning activities including standard product and non-standard solutions where required. As a trusted partner with our key clients, the Solution Architect is focussed on the business problems that we aim to solve, not just the technologies that we use. An ICT professional who consults, designs, documents and presents to both IT & non-IT business execs.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Provide pre-sales solution consultancy for our clients and account teams with end to end solution ownership and accountability across multiple ICT domains

Adhere to a standard model for engagement, consultancy, solution development and execution to help enable a platform for best practice to evolve

Partner with multiple pre-sales functions to build out detailed RFP responses and contract development opportunities. Would have full responsibility for a specific tower or complete end to end solution

Provide a single point of accountability to all internal and external stakeholders for the end to end solution elements they own.

Responsible for adherence to Verizon solution design governance in terms of both Deal Lifecycle Management and the ownership of all the Solution Architect tooling as part of the Solution Design Initiative.

Working to maintain and evolve standards in documentation, governance and service orientated architectures underpinned by TOGAF & ITIL in order to help improve customer satisfaction and direct margin on all solutions under their management

Working within a standard framework to ensure we have a solid hand-off 'pre to post-sales' with our Service and Program Management functions

Identify and develop new business leads, opportunities and initiatives that help grow the managed services funnel and fuel new profitable sales and revenue streams within the assigned account base

Key contributor to the creation of the customer specific value proposition, linking the clients business objectives & requirements to our proposed end to end solution

Build and develop relationships with key client stakeholders and participate in on-going governance programs to ensure best practice/effective communication

Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
