Global Finance Leader

Location: Basel
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial and business planning and reporting activities within your area
- Collaborate with Project Management team to develop the strategic plan for programs where your responsibility will be to develop the financial components
- Responsible for preparing financial forecasts for the whole planning cycle
- Prepare variance analysis for actual spend compared to key planning cycles
- Lead and manage the financial collaboration and settlement of shared program spendings
- Review contracts with respect to financial terms and ensure compliance with company policies
- Prepare for potential audits and ensure audit follow-ups
- Act as initial point of contact for project teams with respect to finance support, financial training and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- MBA/University Degree in Finance
- At least 7-10 years Finance experience and should have worked with Scientists and Development Professionals. Should have good knowledge of Development Processes and preferably Cross functional experience
- Highly experienced with SAP/TM1/Succeed (OPX2)/COGNOS, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Highly numerate and logical thinker
- Strong knowledge of controls processes and SOX driven financial policies
- Strong communication, presentation and leadership abilities
- Strong knowledge of methods and procedures for planning, budgeting, monitoring, controlling and reporting for a large Development organization
- In order to achieve business goals, a suitable candidate should have the ability to create new processes and financial controls when necessary
