For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Derivative Regulatory Reform Business Analysis:
START: ASAP
DURATION: 6 months
LOCATION: Zürich
The ideal candidate brings:
- a comprehensive understanding of FX, Non-FX, ETDs, OTCs and Other Financial Instruments (Focus in Investment Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management)
- Trading Knowledge including Trading, Positions, Valuations, Collaterals, Bi-Lateral Margining (non-exhaustive)
- Front-to-Back Processing Knowledge including Confirmation and Reporting
- Thought Leadership with respect to direction of the Industry for Transaction & Trade Reporting
- survey, analyze and evaluate processes, trading products and services including booking models and execution approaches.
- An understanding of regulatory trade reporting via CFTC, EMIR, FinfraG, MiFID/MiFIR, Asian Regulations (MAS, HKMA, Australia)
- understand existing solutions for leverage, design change and extensions to existing solutions and find and implement solutions
- support program and project management tasks in co-ordinating impact, effort and design of potential solution options
- coordinate the work of more individual branch analysts
- provide documentation of IT Design and Specifications

- Global initiative with impacts in all divisions
- Used to work on assumptions as final regulations are usually published late
Your experience and skills:
- a degree in Computer Science, banking and finance, or economics
- Senior Architect/IT business analysis in the banking industry
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
You are:
- an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
- a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude
- known for your can-do attitude when tackling daily tasks
- fluent in English.
