For one of our MedTech clients in Chur, I am currently looking for a permanent Embedded Linux Software Engineer (f/m/d).Responsibilities:
* Design and implement robust software for connecting our ventilators to cloud and on-premise applications
* Ensure the highest standards of software quality through unit and integration tests
* Improve and maintain our build system for embedded Linux devices
* Contribute to our testing processes and infrastructure
* Participate in all the stages of the development process, including requirements engineering, design, implementation, review, testing, and documentation
* Guide team members on using best practices in modern software development
Qualifications:
* Degree (MSc or PhD) in computer science, information technologies or relevant field
* At least five years of professional experience in designing and developing C++ software for embedded Linux devices
* Excellent knowledge of modern C++ and STL
* Good knowledge of CMake and C++ build processes
* Experience in test-driven development for embedded devices
* Analytical, independent, and thorough working method
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Beneficial Qualifications
* Hands-on experience in building embedded Linux distributions with Yocto or similar
* Working in a regulated environment: automotive, medtech or related discipline
* Experience in interfacing embedded devices with cloud technologies
