Rate: CHF/day
Data Engineer Developer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/training
- 6-8 years of experience implementing cloud data projects in a large-scale enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Data Integration concepts
- Experience implementing core Snowflake concepts such as data sharing, UDFs, zero copy clones, time travel, micro partition, stored procedures, data import/export, external tables, data types (variant/array/object), etc
- 2-3 years of hands-on Matillion or Wherescape and implementation experience involving AWS, Snowflake, Data Vault and sourcing data into cloud platforms from different types of sources and processing data
- Understand business requirements and convert them into detail technical specifications for ETL programs
- Performance improvement & tuning of DI mappings
- Technical reviews, Data validation & end to end testing of ETL Objects, Source data analysis and data profiling
- Participate in design/code reviews
- Drive estimation of technical components and tracks team's progress
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Agile Development methodology
- Strong communication skills
