C++ Software Engineer (m/f) - ZürichProject: For our client in Zurich, we are currently looking for an experienced C++ Developer (m/f) who has demonstratable computing knowledge in areas such as algorithms, data structures and object oriented programming.
Your responsibilities:
- You will implement and optimize computational code, especially using solvers for systems of PDEs
- Variety of development within the given technological stack, adhering to high and innovative internal standards
- Hands-on work on a Python framework, such as building infrastructure for data, implementing instrument drivers, automating calibration routines, developing visualization tools and more
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine application requirements
Your profile:
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science, software development or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a C++ software engineer
- Ideally you will have worked in a research environment
- Experience with Git, Make and/or cmake
- Experience with Finite element methods, Fortran, Visualization, Docker and SQL are a plus
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
- 2+ years' experience of working with Python
- Bash scripting skills
- German language skills - nice to have
