DevOps Engineer

Our client from the finance environment in Zurich is looking for an English-speaking DevOps Engineer. Are you passionate about DevOps tool chain and IT security and love to work with modern technologies? Can you drive IT automation to make things faster and more efficient? Conditions:

- Start date- July 2022 or negotiable

- Duration- until 31.12.2022 with internalization (!)

- Work capacity- 80-100%

- Work model- Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days offsite).

About the role:

- Work hands-on in DevOps tool chain and IT security

- Develop, maintain, and automate the dev-tool stack and pipeline as part of our DevOps scrum team

- Improve application monitoring, alerting and analytic systems, taking care of security-related topics like vulnerability management

- Drive technical migration and release coordination end-to-end and define operational features together with the team

About you:

- Experience with containerization (Docker), configuration management (Saltstack, Ansible) and shell-scripting

- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory) and up-to-date DevOps skills with working experience in a productive Linux environment

- Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana, Kafka know-how is a big plus

- "Can-do" mentality, fast learning skills and willingness to lead and take ownership

- Good verbal and written skills in English, German is a plus
