The Swiss Competence Centre (3RCC) on Refinement, Reduction and Replacement of animal experimentation (referred to as the principles of 3Rs) is a non-profit association, which aims to improve animal research in the life sciences. The 3RCC is a joint initiative by eleven Swiss Higher Education Institutions, Interpharma, the Federal food Safety and Veterinary Office and the Swiss Animal Protection Society.The 3RCC is looking to strengthen its profile and increase its visibility across existing communication channels with a primary focus on revising its website (www.swiss3RCC.org). The aim is to develop the existing website into a user-friendly high-quality resource for its stakeholders and for this we are proposing a:
Project on website development and mediamatic support
The contractor will help us transform our digital presentation, provide support and maintenance as well as lead possible new ad-hoc projects to strengthen the 3RCC’s visibility.
Project scope
Website support
• Revision and redesign of the current website, including the navigation and general layout - design, some graphic content, coding, testing and implementation (Typo3)
• Update and optimization of the website structure, functionality
• Build search engine optimisation (SEO)
Improvement of the 3RCC digital visibility and communication
• Digital communication plan across existing communication channels including website, social media, newsletter and press releases.
• Develop new tools to improve the Centre’s communication measures.
• Strengthen the Swiss 3RCC's online presence and help engage with public, academic, industrial, and government stakeholders.
• Develop and optimise website and social media analytics
• Establish monitoring tools of media, political and public opinion.
Project Schedule and management
Start: as soon as possible.
Duration: two months FTE. Desired finalization of project latest in December 2021.
Conditions: Contract based (service level agreement between the contractor and the 3RCC). Contract may be renewed for future continuous services. Payment schedule defined in contract. Project cost at market price.
