Our client is looking for a Full time software consultant experienced in working with Horizon Software. This is a long term contract remote opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as Solution Matter Expert (SME) for Horizon Software and to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Be a key player in integrating Horizon Software Solutions products with the client's infrastructure and systems
Provide proof-of-concept support for the client including problem solving, training assistance, and installation support
Support internal teams and internal functional groups (installation coordinators, trainers, etc.) to ensure flawless client execution of software.
Work closely with Business Consultant and Account Executive for seamless delivery of technology solution based on investment analysis
Work with internal teams to create the necessary project and solution documentation needed for client acceptance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area, or equivalent experience, required.

Qualifications:
5+ years' experience working with software connectivity, integrations and technology solutions
Strong customer interfacing skills at all levels in both business and technical environments
Database knowledge, including Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting. Oracle knowledge a plus
Experience with Scala and Java Back End development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work within a team environment
Ability to assess a situation and make recommendations to improve or change
Proven track record of achievement of high quality performance against objectives
Self-motivated with the ability to develop cross functional project teams
Project management experience a plus, Time management critical.
Ability to travel 30% - 50% and be on-site in Zurich.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project
Domain experience in Financial field, investment banking preferably.
