Senior BI Systems Engineer (Banking)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking Senior BI Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will be in a team that provides IT services such as maintenance, enhancement and development for applications. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Being responsible for complex data access roles and tracking and managing user requests.
- Regular Deploying of new Releases together with team members
- Working to project schedules and providing accurate and timely feedback for any assigned task
- Working with other Administrators, Engineers and Developers to solve third level issues, to engineer technical solutions and to continuously improve scalability, robustness and performance of the whole system
- Provide day-2-day technical support
- Participate on regular stand ups and all other agile/scrum based processes where required
You must possess:
- At least 5 years of practical technical experience with Microsoft BI technologies especially SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- Practical knowledge of Scripting SQL queries and development of stored procedures
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle and o SQL DBs is a great plus
- Knowldege of JIRA, Control-M, PowerCenter and a script language is a plus
