For our client, one of the most instantly recognizable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Front End Architect for a new 6 month contract in Zurich or Ticino with a strong potential for extension.
This is a six month contract starting in September with a strong chance of extension.
Front End Architect, Java, Angular, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
Working in a team of experienced and passionate professionals, you will work on a greenfield project. You will take responsibility for the definition of the architecture based on Angular JS for two new applications in the credit area which are used on tablet and desktop devices.
Responsibilities:
- Application architecture setup for the two applications
- Provide high level design of technical solution landscape
- Establish technical guidelines and enforce it
- Contribute to establishment of all solution development effort estimates
- Provide properly documented inputs for issue resolution gremium
- Coordination and alignment with major stakeholders
- Implementation of UI based on Angular JS
- Support and training on the job of the current developer's team on Angular JS topics
In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 5 years solution development area experience
- Strong web development experience
- 3 years minimum software architecture experience
- Knowledge of JAVA development platforms and associated architectures (including Batch and Oracle)
- Strong hands on experience with Angular JS
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, LESS, SaSS knowledge
- UI design patterns and approach Object Oriented Design knowledge
- RSA/RSM, Eclipse, CVS, UML knowledge
- Experience in the design, and implementation of multi-tier application platforms
- Ability to evaluate different architectures
- Former lead designer and/or developer of multi phased, large scale projects
- Experience as technical project manager or equivalent role
- Experience in development or roll-out of web based application platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with people face to face and over the phone across different cultures and time zones
- Responsive to changing requirements and priorities
- Strong negotiation skills, both with internal as well as external clients
