The role holder will deliver high quality software artefacts, create client statements, asset pie charts and performance evaluation as requested by the Avaloq Development Lead and the Head of architecture.
Key Accountabilities:
- The role holder delivers the functionality of the project according to the specifications done by the Development Lead. He/She is providing assistance during design and technical description of the solution based on functional requirements.
- The role holder provides delivers the changes needed to deliver the project. He/She is responsible for the coding and unit testing of the tasks assigned. He/She is supporting the development lead in the coordination with different teams for the delivery into production of the solution and works with testers to verify the solution and is analysing and fixing defects assigned.
Essential skills/experience required
- The successful candidate is an Avaloq Developer with experience in Wealth banking industry. He/She ensures that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements
- The successful candidate must have Output management experience
Desirable skills/experience required
- Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, Java skills, SQL and Oracle would be preferable
Professional/technical experience:
- The ideal candidate has to be Avaloq certified and provide some experience working with a vendor or a bank in the banking industry. (suitable candidates will have Avaloq academy, Avaloq 55 qualification)
Academic and professional qualifications:
- The successful candidates hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent.
Personal attributes:
- The right candidate has the proven ability to work within a team environment and shows clear and fluent English verbal and written communication skills. He/She has the ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgment.
- The successful candidate shows strong analytical and problem solving skills and has experience in working in a global team across multiple geographic locations.
- The successful candidate must have a dynamic nature and be able to deal with solving multiple problems in a challenging environment.
