Developer with Grails/Groovy
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry. We are looking for a Developer with Grails/Groovy who can start as soon as possible.
Role overview:
- Develop and maintain in house application
Qualifications/competencies:
- Strong skills of modern web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- KnockoutJS experience
- Broad skills of Java or C# and Groovy
- In depth knowledge around modern MVC frameworks (like GRAILS)
- Strong skills of Databases (SQL) and of ORM mappers (Hibernate)
- Experience with Sharepoint customizations and interfaces
- Good understanding of the solution delivery process (business analysis, requirements engineering, development, testing, deployment, methodologies like SCRUM).
- Strong experience with development on large scale applications and activities like stabilization, refactoring and testing
- Sound experience using DevOps systems like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, SVN, Jenkins
- Bachelor or Master degree in Informatics or similar experience/education
- Experience in working within global and large organizations
- Experience in working with remote and agile teams
- Very good stakeholder management
- Very good English and German abilities (oral and written)
