For our banking client we are currently looking for a Java Developer with experience in testing (automated or Performance)
START: ASAP
Duration:6 months + possible extensions
Location: Zürich
- Senior in JEE engineer with interest in testing (eg automated testing with Selenium or Performance testing)
- 4+ years' experience in IT (development, architecture)
- 2+ years' experience in Java/J2EE (Architecture, Design-Pattern, Run-time), Oracle WLS preferred. Experience with Web Services, RestFul services preferred
- An engineering mindset in terms of structured analysis of complex systems and problem approaching, being able to analyse performance issues on its own
- A high level of abstraction skills to create strategies and planning for tests of IT systems
- 1+ year Experience in JVM tuning and application profiling
- Experience with Load Test tools like LoadRunner, JMeter preferred
- Experience with C programming preferred
- Experience with J2EE and System monitoring tools (Introscope, I3, Dynatrace, BMC Patrol ) preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is essential
Nice to have skills:
- Database performance tuning
- Distributed Caches (like coherence)
