Project Manager HR

Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry. We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in HR application projects who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, testing, deployment & activation of regulatory changes in the Human Resources and Branding & Communication Applications Area in a global and multicultural environment
  • Responsible for delivery, budget & quality of his/her functional area across all divisional projects
  • Plan, track, advise & inform on resources, time, scope, risks and issues
  • SPOC for global divisional lead and respective sub program leads
  • Weekly status reporting
  • Working directly with IT teams within functional area to ensure delivery
  • Close collaboration with the business partners, providers, IT staff, support units, IT infrastructure departments etc.
  • Responsibility for the stakeholder management and establishment of effective communication channels
  • In addition PMO tasks (tracking of items/issues/defects) of CH project manager

Skills & Experience

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as Project Manager with a proven track record in managing and successful deliveries of international projects/programs, preferably in a global company within the financial services industry
  • Profound knowledge in different Human Resources processes
  • Experience with HR processes
  • Proven knowledge of project management processes, methods and standards
  • Experience in client relationship management and people management skills (including change management and managing distributed project teams)
  • Solution oriented; thinking in solutions rather than in problems
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and project team members
  • Ability to be "hands on", as well as see the "big picture"
  • Strong organizational skills with disciplined and structured approach
  • Experience in working and interaction with high profile stakeholders
  • Reliable, analytical and flexible personality
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German is an advantage
  • Understanding of application-/software architecture is beneficial
  • Certification (PMP, IPMA B/C, Prince2 or equivalent) would be a significant asset
