For our client based in Wolfsburg (Germany), we are currently looking for a German-speaking
Application Support Specialist (f/m)

Skills required
• Experience in application support and maintenance of Oracle, Unix, , Java, WebSphere, SQL server, ASP.NET, Web technologies, report/ Jasper Report, Adobe Distiller, PROBA, ISPF, Bugzilla, Test-director, HPALM, Tabwiz, MQ Series, RVS.
• Fluent German is mandatory.

Tasks
• Day to Day monitoring of all non-mainframe applications.
• Regular Monitor of Ticketing Tool for any new issues raised by user.
• Assigning, Categorizing [SR, Incident, PR] the issue in tool.
• Maintaining the latest status in ticketing tool based on the service management process set for P1/P2/P3 tickets.
• Daily scrum to update on ticket status and discuss on any critical issues with leads.
• Monitor the high priority tickets closely to avoid any SLA breach.
• Investigating and resolving the incidents and providing solution or work-around on problem tickets.
• Prepare RCA for all P1 and P2 issues and discuss the same with Team Lead.
• Manage Application Support function, Analyzing and Fix / provide Work Around for issues / job failures in various applications in a Support Environment.
• Maintain Known Error Database and Knowledge Management Database with latest solutions provided.
• Perform the release in production based on release plan.
