Network Security Project Manager - Investment Banking
Leading Investment Bank in Zurich is looking for a Network Security Project Manager who will be tasked with 4 key projects:
1. Malware prevention improvements using FireEye NX; this project is already in deployment phase and requires completion in two regions.
2. Deployment of the next generation of Network-Based Intrusion Detection Systems globally.
3. Engineering and deployment of a solution for the monitoring of internal using Sinkholes.
4. Closure of a project in Distributed Denial of Service protection.
As a Network Security Project Manager your responsibilities will be:
- Managing all aspects of a program/project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
- Manage a team of experienced Project Managers, either directly or as part of a Matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement
The requirements are a follows:
- Experience managing global projects, ideally PM certifications like PMP, ideally experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP)
- Experience with networking/network security
- Ideally, experience with FireEye, Sourcefire, Security Onion and other network security tools
- Experience using structured software development methods (SDLCs)
- Strong analytical skills to analyse complex problems, develop solutions, and build consensus around those solutions
- Experience in large FSI corporations
- Ability to work across time zones, hierarchy levels, and cultures
- Strong stakeholder management
